Free Custom Email for Your Domain

Prerequisites

1. Gmail account with 2FA ✔️
2. Domain configured in Cloudflare

Cloudflare Email Routing

1. Log in to Cloudflare Dashboard
2. Select your domain
3. Navigate to: Email > Email Routing > Routing rules
4. In Custom address block:
   • Click Create address
   • Fill fields:

      Custom address: [your-name]@yourdomain.com
      Action: Forward
      Destination: your-personal@gmail.com
     

5. Click Save

ℹ️ Allow 15-30 minutes for DNS propagation if emails don’t arrive immediately

Set Up Gmail SMTP Server

Step 1: Create App Password

Before start:
✅ 2FA must be enabled in Google Account

1. Visit App Password Generator
2. Create new app password:

   App name: "Cloudflare Email"
   

   🔥 Copy 16-char password immediately
   🗝️ Store in secure place
   ⚠️ NO spaces in password
   🔄 Regenerate if lost

Step 2: Configure SMTP

1. Open Gmail Settings
2. Navigate to: Accounts and Import > Add another email address
3. Enter sender details:

   Name: Your Name
   Email: address@yourdomain.com
   

4. SMTP configuration:

   SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
   Port: 587
   Username: username@gmail.com (with "@gmail.com")
   Password: Generated password from step1
   Encryption: TLS
   

5. Confirm verification email sent to your@yourdomain.com

🎉 Done! Now you can:
✔️ Receive to name@yourdomain.com
✔️ Send as name@yourdomain.com

❗ Sending limits:

Free Gmail:   500 emails/day
Google Workspace: 2000 emails/day
